Every year in a long weekend in June about a thousand dancers from across the country and around the world converge on the Catalina Island for *the* Swing Camp. The Catalina Island resort is off the coast of LA. In 2000, a group of about 20 Chicago area dancers took a group flight to the Catalina Island. This was our very first swing camp and it was a total blast!!! There were lessons from world renowned instructors during the day and lots of dancing at night and early morning. The exact dates we were there were June 8-12, 2000.
