Just a little background on the Herrang Dance Camp. It is located 110 kilometers north of Stockholm. The camp started on July 6, 2002 and closed on Aug 6, 2002. While the camp is 4 weeks long, the classes and events are divided per week. They have classes during the day, dancing at night and all the way up in the morning (like 6am during the week). They have Slow Blues Night on Wednesday, Cabaret Night on Thursday and a special Theme Night on Friday (this is also their big dance). I purposely made it to camp on Friday (7/19) of the second week for the Friday Theme Night Dance. And I stayed for all of the third week. I don't own a camera since I'm not a picture taking kinda guy. But some of you asked me before I left for Sweden to bring back pictures. I purchased a disposable camera and below are pictures that were taken with that camera. I have comments below the pictures and I hope you enjoy going through them! |

This is the Focus Hall which is the headquarters of the
Dance Camp. They hold the nightly and after hours
dancing here. Also, two of the four rooms used for dance
instructions are in this facility. The 9pm nightly
meetings are held here also. |
This is where I stayed. I believe there are two more
facilities similar to this. Also, if you look closely
enough you could see the highly advanced clothes dryer. |

This is what it looks like in the inside. You are
assigned a mattress, a comforter and a pillow.
No, you don't get a mattress sheet or a pillow case.
Also there are no warm water. YES, all our showers
were done with cold water. |
There were so many people the week I was there that
they turned the gym into sleeping space. Clint stayed here. |

This is the whole Chicago contigency, me and Clint. |
This is Andrea from Switzerland. The first time we
danced, we danced non-stop from around 2:00 in the
morning until the last song was played which was around
6:00am. Well not quite non-stop, we danced to every song
except for about 2-3 water breaks. |
